Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the leARn mobile application ("App") provided by leARn ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms. If you are a parent or guardian using the App on behalf of a child, you accept these Terms on your child's behalf and are responsible for their use of the App.

2. Description of Service

leARn is an educational application designed for children ages 3 to 8 that provides interactive learning experiences through:

• Augmented Reality (AR) content and experiences
• Language learning in 7 languages (English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian)
• AI-generated stories and content
• Speech recognition and pronunciation feedback
• Educational games, puzzles, and activities
• Drawing and coloring tools

3. Accounts and Registration

Some features of the App may require you to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free and Premium Content

The App offers both free content (limited features) and premium content accessible through a subscription.

4.2 Subscription Plans

Premium subscriptions are available in the following plans:

• Weekly subscription
• Monthly subscription
• 3-month subscription
• Yearly subscription

4.3 Billing

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your device's app store account settings

4.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) according to their respective refund policies. Please contact the relevant app store for refund inquiries.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers or networks
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its related systems
• Use automated means to access or collect data from the App

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, 3D models, animations, audio, software, and AR experiences — are owned by leARn or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial educational purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7. User-Generated Content

The App may allow users to create content such as drawings, stories (through AI prompts), and other creative works. You retain ownership of any original content you create. By creating content within the App, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store and display that content within the App for your personal use.

8. AI-Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate stories and educational content. AI-generated content is provided "as is" for educational and entertainment purposes. While we strive to ensure all content is age-appropriate, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.

9. Disclaimers

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components
• Educational content is intended to supplement, not replace, formal education
• AR features require compatible devices; performance may vary by device

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, leARn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, regardless of the theory of liability.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless leARn, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, providing in-app notice. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
